‘Collective Moves’ saw the formation of a partnership between 3 past and future European Capitals of Culture, a ECoC candidate city, a Borough of Culture and 2 cultural organisations, with each partner and associate holding pan-city cultural celebrations to build on the legacy of their cultural strategy. The partners have created ‘Collective Moves’ as a sharing platform for themselves and their creative workforce to address resource gaps, to deliver the quality and range of inclusive, site-specific, multidisciplinary performances that have proven to attract and sustain wider audiences locally and across Europe. The Libertalia ‘labs’ enable the partners to achieve their goals by delivering capacity building training though production, knowing that together we thrive, so our labs will promote a culture of co-creation and self-governance.
